Testing
No, I’m not crazy, I’m testing out a new program to write, save, and publish my blog with.
I’ll let you know what’s up with a review shortly.

Last weekend I had hinted at a slight change in the blog. Well here it is, above under the title are three brand new pages. Each elaborates upon the three mission statements of the blog (Life. Technology. Politics.) and offers up subject specific link lists, which will grow in time. I did this because the blogroll at the bottom of the screen is small and could crowd easily, so that is now reserved only for local/regional blogs of SW Va, a place just for my contemporaries.
As I had said, its not a big change, but it’s just a little something. Enjoy. Or not. Whatever :).
I’ve been quiet for the passed few days, but there’s a reason for that. I’ve been working under the hood of the blog, trying to make it a little bit more interesting for the end user (you).
Don’t expect wonders, just something a little extra.
For my last VT post I won’t say much. Rather I will link to a letter addressed to the Radford University community from the school’s president, Penelope W. Kyle. It shows how much we care for and about Tech, and actually I learned that RU used to literally be a part of VT until it broke off and went co-ed.
Luckily everyone I know at VT is ok, however a close friends knows two of the injured and a friend of the injured knows at least one of the dead.
Everyone I know at VT and RU are still in shock over this. Most everyone at RU knows someone at VT who is affected by these horrific events. As I said before the two schools and their students bodies are very close to one another.
Also as I said before, now that the worst is over, hopefully the best possible outcomes for all of the survivors and for VT will now occur.
I went to RU, which is around 10 mins from VA Tech. VA Tech and RU share a lot of programs and social events, kinda like Tech is RU’s big bro.
So all this stuff at Tech is so very sad and just wrong. I hope it ends as well as it can.
Welp, in case you didn’t hear, Captain America was picked off by a sniper, and died.
He survived Hitler, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq 1, Iraq 2, and everything else I didn’t mention.
And a sniper took him out.
Go fig.
Yeah, yeah I know, I’ve been gone alot lately. And its true, I’ve been job hunting my butt off in addition to working 32 hrs a week at a grocery store……..damn those college guys make it sound like you’re gonna get a job straight out of the collegiate gate.
Apparently it takes time.
For those who care, expect a real post by week’s end. ![]()
Give me a week and the new Lotzothoughtz will be up and running properly.
